Halloween Crafts for Toddlers
We are so excited for Halloween at my house. Halloween is my daughter’s favorite holiday.
I’ve never been the biggest fan of Halloween, but she is slowly changing my mind!
Since she was a baby, we’ve had lots of fun dressing her and my dog up in coordinating costumes (see my favorite kid and dog coordinating costumes here).
My daughter gets so excited in the lead-up to Halloween. She loves to carve a pumpkin, pick out at least two costume possibilities and prepare treats for her friends (you can check out my favorite healthy Halloween treats here–perfect for class parties!).
One of the ways we celebrate Halloween is, of course, by making lots of crafts.
As a mom, I love Halloween crafts that don’t take much prep and my daughter can do, at least partially, independently. It is so nice to see her becoming more independent with her craft skills!
Today I’ve done a round-up on easy Halloween crafts for toddlers and preschoolers. I’ve scoured the internet to find fun and engaging Halloween crafts for young children.
To me, a good craft uses interesting mediums (not just paper) and these crafts hit the mark with materials like yarn, toilet paper rolls, and even pasta.
Of course, these crafts have to be easy to make. The materials need to be easy to find around your house, and shouldn’t take too long to set up.
These crafts are pretty easy for kids to create independently or with minimal assistance. I can’t stand kids crafts where the adult does most of the crafting while the kid just sits and watches.
All of these wonderful crafts hit the mark. I am sure your littles will love making these crafts and will proudly display them in the lead-up to the big day!

This adorable spiderweb craft is cute and so much fun! Your child can practice their fine motor skills while making a cool Halloween decoration! Your toddler will love collecting fall leaves to make this adorable ghost craft! Simply round the top point of a maple leaf. Your toddler can easily paint the leaf white and draw on a cute face. There are so many ways to display this sweet craft, including making a garland, hanging from doorways, or gluing on paper. A definite winner! This easy Halloween craft makes a cute paper plate spiderweb using only a few supplies. It’s perfect for even the littlest ones to practice the coordination of threading yarn through the holes. Simply punch some holes in a black paper plate and have your toddler use a plastic needle to thread some white string through! It couldn't be easier and makes for a great fine motor activity!
