It’s that season again… Easter is right around the corner. Today I’m here to share some great ideas for your Easter baskets for 2024!
Some items featured in this post were provided to me free of charge for testing purposes. As always, all opinions are my own!
Easter is fast approaching and I want to share what I’m putting in my daughters’ Easter baskets. These fantastic toys would also make great Easter gifts for many little boys as well.
My strategy this year is to go for lots of outdoor toys mixed with some of their favorite brands, which are always a huge hit. I’m also including some toys and activities that will work on fine motor skills. I’m not adding too much chocolate, because I don’t want to deal with the sugar high!

Easter Basket Ideas for Kids:
So without further ado, here are my top picks for Easter basket ideas for 2024:
Rainbow High Jr. High PJ Party Dolls
I don’t know about you, but my elementary school-aged daughter just loves Rainbow High dolls. The new Jr. High PJ Party Dolls are perfect for Spring. Each 9 inch doll comes with her own PJ’s, slippers and the perfect PJ party accessories. Sure to be a hit with sleepover fans!
Fluffie Stuffies Bunny
These adorable characters can be played with in three different ways–pull it, reveal it and stuff it! Each toy will reveal a surprise character when you pull its fluff! Perfect for lovers of stuffies. Be sure to collect them all!
Another fabulous Easter gift I know my kiddos will love is Miniverse Make It Mini Diner & Café collection (Series 1). It is the only mini food collectible that you can actually make and display AND each package comes with a surprise!
Cat Micro RC
This full-function remote-controlled vehicle will thrill truck lovers! Available in both excavator and dump truck models, your little one will love using the hard hat-shaped controller to control the articulated pars of this vehicle, driving from one construction site to the next. Perfect indoor and outdoor fun for Spring!
Flik Flak Watches
I love this new offering from one of the most iconic children’s brands, Flik Flak. These Swiss-made watches are BPA-free and offer playful designs and easy care with machine-washable materials. This is a great gift for an older child learning to tell time!
Melissa and Dough ABC Puzzle
As a teacher, I know it’s never to young to expose children to the alphabet. This ABC Puzzle from Melissa and Doug will provide exposure to the alphabet shapes in a fun play-based setting.
Crayola Window Cling Makers
We bought a similar Crayola kit for a cousin for last Christmas and my daughter hasn’t stopped talking about it since. I know she’ll be thrilled when she gets her very own kit this year. I’m guessing we’ll have gel forms all over the house come Easter Monday!
Fancy Nancy Books
I love Fancy Nancy books and so do my girls! My oldest loves the funny stories and empathizes with Fancy Nancy’s love of all things ornate. My youngest loves looking at the beautifully illustrated pictures in the books. I love that Fancy Nancy books are wonderful for vocabulary development.
Karen Katz Books
Karen Katz books are perfect for babies and young toddlers. Their lift-the-flap style is super engaging for babies. The expressive faces of the babies featured are so cute! For Easter, we’re giving our youngest Baby Loves Springtime.
Melissa and Doug Career Magnetivity
I don’t know about you, but I’m so sick of princess or fashion model dress up sets! I love that this career-focused dress up set is unisex and focused on meaningful careers instead of superfluous clothing. I want my girls to know it’s what’s inside that counts, not the way you look or the clothes you wear.
Melissa and Doug Made by Me Magnets
Crafts are crucial in a time like this. They’re a great distraction for when we feel cooped up in the house. I love the Created by Me series from Melissa and Doug because it really puts power into children’s hands to become creators and create useful items.
Melissa and Doug Bird House Craft Kit
Another Created by Me set from Melissa and Doug, this one is a Bird Feeder. It’s such a cute kit and perfect for spring!
Scrunchies
The scrunchy rage has transcended adults and has sweeping even preschoolers now. My oldest is jonesin’ for a scrunchy so she’s getting her heart’s desire for Easter! I got a locally made scrunchy for my daughter, but these ones have a similar look.
Rain Gear
Rain gear is always a go-to for us at Easter time. A new rain slicker, boots and splash pants are always crowd pleasers at Easter. This year I’m debating getting a Muddy Buddy for my puddle-loving youngest this year as well.
Swimsuits
Swimsuits are another staple in my girls’ baskets. Might as well get them now and be prepared for June! I love one piece rash guards for swimming outside because they provide great sun protection!
Well moms, those are my top picks for Easter Basket gifts for kids! I hope this helps you on your search for the perfect Easter basket!
